Banjo-B-Que and Good-Bye to Neko

We spent the night in August, GA and attended Banjo-B-Que.  A Georgia festival of Bar-B-Que and Banjo music.  The highlight was seeing the Avett Brothers Friday night.  Josie stayed up 5 hours past her bedtime and loved the concert.

Helping daddy wax bowl blanks from a River Birch that came down in the neighborhood.

Mmmmm.  McDonalds milkshakes.

R.I.P., Neko.  After not coming home for several days, I found Neko's remains behind our yard while trimming back privot.   She must have lost a fight with a neighborhood dog or coyote.  Poor girl probably had no idea any animal could be so savage.  Neko loved everybody, especially Greta, and never exposed her claws... unless it was on the furniture!  Good bye, sweet cat.  Thanks for all the joy you brought Josie and the rest of the family.
